At the rear of our Georgian house, built in 1864, we have a converted stables, a 1 bedroom detached annex. There is also another sofa bed for guests or children. Trains for London, Norwich, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Peterborough and Ipswich are a 2 min walk away and you can also walk to Stowmarket town centre in 10 minutes. Cafes & country walks from your doorstep! The fantastic location of this annex means that you can walk everywhere from the front door, from shopping and coffee in Stowmarket's town centre to glorious country walks to neighbouring villages, this location has it all! The Annex can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children at no extra cost (they can use the pull out bed and/or we can supply a travel cot) It's all yours, the bedroom, sitting room, bathroom, kitchen and hallway and a wardrobe. I will be available to meet you and giving you the keys, you can text me anytime and feel free to knock on our door if you need anything! Location, Location, Location! There are a number of great coffee shops and attractions In Stowmarket (10 min walk) including The Museum Of East Anglian Life, The Stowmarket Tennis Club, Everyone Active (Climbing wall, swimming pool, playworld for kids and exercise classes). Stowmarket also has a Prezzo, Costa and some beautiful independent shops. You can also be immersed in beautiful Suffolk countryside a short walk from your accommodation, one of our favourite country walks is along the River Gipping to Needham Market. 2 Minute walk to Stowmarket Train Station with connections to London Liverpool Street (1.20mins) Norwich (20 Mins) Ipswich (15 Mins) Cambridge (50 mins) and Peterborough. There is also a bus stop right by the train station with buses to Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Felixstowe. The nearest seaside town is Felixstowe - a 30 min drive away or Southwold 1 hour drive. We are situated 5 mins from the A14. You are welcome to drive into the driveway for bag pick-ups and drop-offs, however there is a large car park that always has space at the back of the property - £3 for all day parking.
