**If you would like to stay longer than 28 days call/text (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) ** Charming little guesthouse, on our 28 acre farm, with a 3 acre pond. There is a trail around pond that is 0.5 mi. Horses, ducks, cats, chickens, honey bees, and a dog roam the property. Five minutes from Saxapahaw. Horse boarding available for additional cost. Pet fee can be reimbursed if you leave no pet hair or pet mess. The outdoor space is shared, please let us know when you want use the grill or picnic table. This is a rural space, a working hobby farm. It is off of a country highway road. You have the guest house to yourself, though be aware our personal home is also located on the property. Feel free to walk the property and spend some time by the 3 acre pond. Our animals are typically friendly, but if you chose to interact with them, you do so at your own risk. I will always be a phone call or text away, if you need anything. You might see us feeding the animals, working on projects around the farm, or playing with our kids around the yard. We won’t approach you, but if you want to say “hi”, feel free! Just 5 minutes away from a charming little town, Saxapahaw. The Haw River runs through the town; and there are some nice hiking trails, and canoeing/kayaking services available. We are conveniently located between Burlington and Chapel Hill, about 45 minutes away from Raleigh and 35 minutes away from Greensboro. You will need to travel here by car. Feel free to park in the driveways near the guest house. This is a 50+ year old house that has been renovated, but isn’t perfect. Please read the house manual, as that may help you with the quirks of this house. There is an extra guest fee for guests 3 and 4, but guests 5 and 6 are free. This is because the sleeping arrangements include an air mattress and a couch, please take note of that. Let me know so I can adjust your booking if need be.
