Nice house with river view in a rural location

Welcome to logement Fortzicht! An idyllic brand new semi-detached house with front view on the Amstel and back view at a fort which is part of the Defence Line of Amsterdam. The house is situated about an half hour drive from Amsterdam and Amstelveen. Restaurants and shops can be found in towns like Uithoorn, Vinkeveen or Mijdrecht at about an 10-15 minutes drive. The house is located in a rural area and has its own parking space. You have access to the entire house. The layout is as follows: Ground floor contains a utility room with washing machine and dryer. The kitchen, dining area and sitting area are open plan. The hall gives access to a separate toilet and a bathroom with shower. Via the stairs you reach the first floor where the master bedroom is with a view of the Amstel, second bedroom with two single beds that can also be put together, storage room and 1 full bathroom with toilet, bath and shower. You have acces to a deck terras at the back with chairs and at the front there is a jetty with a canoe you can use. Whole house We hope to welcome you to our house. During your stay you can always reach us by phone. As we live next door you can always knock on our door when we are in, if you want to speak to us in person. We will do anything to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. You can visit Botshol, a great nature reserve, to swim in summer or rent a rowing boat to explore it. Vinkeveen, Uithoorn, Mijdrecht and Amstelveen are nearby for shopping and eating. You can visit the Vinkeveense plassen or visit a theatre in Amstelveen or Amsterdam, or just enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. You can also use the canoe (life vests are provided) to row on the Amstel and even take a little swim, but it is recommended to put on water shoes if you go into the water. We have bikes for rent if you want to explore the environment without your car. There is limited public transportation in the area. If you want more information about that, just contact us. The garden is work in progress, but it is useable. You can sit on the deck at the back of the house, so you do not have to make use of the garden.
