Charming hideaway at sheep farm
The holiday home is part of a larger cottage in the Polders in East Flanders, dating back to 1700. A few years ago we rebuilt a cow shed into a tiny house. It radiates peace and tranquility, yet with enough comfort to satisfy your needs. The holiday home has got two floors. The interior radiates warmth, thanks to the abundant use of wood. Everything is handcrafted. The wood was sawn out of complete trees on our own farm, afterwards treated with ecological products. The holiday home has a private entrance. The holiday home is next to our house. We share the same garden, but there are enough little corners to meet your need for privacy. You also have a private terrace. Luc is a full time shepherd. You'll find him at or around the farm. Siele is a part time teacher, you'll also regularly find her at home or on the farm. You are always welcome on the farm, to visit the sheep and goats. Depending on the time of the year, you can join Luc while tending the flock or spend some time in the sheep pen cuddling newborn lambs. Sint Gillis Waas lies in the Polders of East Flanders, next to the Dutch border. Ideal for walking and cycling on the dikes or in the woods. Antwerp, Ghent and even the seaside are not too far away. Free parking. Accessible by train and bus. If you want to participate in the life on the farm, do bring appropiate clothing and footwear.
