Hidden away in the picturesque hamlet of Coates, Fittleworth. The Bothy is surrounded by countryside - perfect for a weekend escape, Staycation or Mini-Moon. Family friendly, in shared one acre walled garden with a Yurt. Each have ample space with the Yurt on the opposite side of the walled garden (see photos). We are surrounded by historic woodland & beautiful countryside. Ideal for two couples or a family - both bedrooms separate with an en-suite bathrooms. Ideal staycation to explore the South Downs National Park. You can walk from your door in minutes to Lords Piece, Coates Common heathlands SSSI. Great open-plan space for a group to get ready on the morning of a wedding or for a special ocassion. The Bothy comes with one acre of walled garden to enjoy and outdoor dining. The owners within walking distance and are available by phone, text or email until 8pm everyday for questions or, queries. Close to Fittleworth, Pulborough, Petworth, Arundel, Midhurst and Cowdray. Chichester and Goodwood. Ideal location for weddings at Fitzleroi Barn, Bignor Park, Bartholomew Barn, Grittenham Barn, Upwaltham Barn and Dorset House. Close to Seaford College. Nearest train station is Pulborough which is a 10 minute drive or, 35 minute cycle. It takes approximately 1 hour, 10 minutes by train from London Victoria. London Gatwick airport is a 45 minute drive. Southampton airport is 1 hour away and London Heathrow approximately 1 hour, 15 minutes (depending on traffic). Goodwood 12 miles (23 minutes, subject to traffic). Ideal location for Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival and Goodwood horse racing events. Free range eggs usually available from our resident chickens (excluding wintertime when Nugget, Jeff, Maude, Mable, Zebra chicken choose not to lay so much). Our closest shop is Fittleworth Stores & Cafe on the village green in School Lane, Fittleworth. There is a Tesco & Sainsbury’s in Pulborough. As well as being in the South Downs National Park (SSSI). In May 2016 the South Downs National Park became the world’s newest International Dark Sky Reserve (IDSR), perfect for stargazing.
