Bright, spacious annex with pretty garden view

Lovely light-filled double bedroom with plenty of space and an additional living area with a pretty view to the outside patio and country garden. There is wifi, TV, fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, microwave and a few home treats! The room is suitable for two adults and for a little extra can also accommodate up to two children on camp beds. The outside patio has table and chairs and sofa seating which guests are welcome to use as well as a large garden with football goals, a trampoline, netball hoop and badminton. The guest room is attached but separate to the main house with its own external access so you are guaranteed privacy, though we are a friendly bunch should you like a chat or any local information. Breakfast for two is included in the nightly rate and is provided in your room (cereals/croissants/fruit/yoghurt/juice). For a little extra we are very happy to provide a full cooked breakfast and can also provide day/evening meals on request. We are located in Downton Abbey country, just 10 minutes from Highclere Castle. The surrounding countryside is wonderfully rural, excellent for walking and cycling and there are fabulous views from the ridges of the nearby Test Way. There are several charming market towns nearby - Newbury (10 mins), Hungerford (15 mins) and Marlborough (25 mins). Perfectly situated for visitors to Newbury Racecourse and there's horse riding, golf, cinema and the lovely Watermill Theatre just minutes away. We are conveniently located off the A34 with easy access to both the M4 and M3. Newbury Railway Station is just a 10 minute drive away with direct trains from London taking from 42 mins.
