Life's a little slower at Serendipity! Set your cares aside in this unique home located 45 minutes north of Rockford and 20 south of Madison. Bring your seasonal toys for direct access to all that the area has to offer. Catch the BIG one" from the pier or Lake Koshkonong. Hop on your sled for a day on the trails. Spend the day shopping in Madison or one of the quaint local villages. Be sure to indulge your inner foodie at one of the many tasty area restaurants. There is something for everyone! My home is very clean with incredible Pinterest-worthy upgrades. Each room has beautiful, vaulted, and raftered ceilings and top-of-the-line finishing's. Every season brings a fantastic view of the river that can’t be beaten. The ducks are always entertaining and the neighborhood bald eagle often makes an appearance to catch its lunch. There’s nothing better than relaxing with a cup of coffee, lounging in the hammock, or just lazing watching the world go by. The master bedroom has a super comfy king bed with a thick mattress topper and lots of room to spread out with an attached bathroom with a tub and laundry. The large cedar-lined closet has plenty of room to store all your belongings. The “blessed" bedroom, has the best view of all the bedrooms facing the river. The super-comfortable queen bed will provide you with a great night's sleep after a day exploring the area or playing on the lake or in the snow. Store your belongings in the 4 drawer dresser or the cedar-lined closet. The "garden" room offers a twin-size daybed and trundle bed (located on the floor). A perfect room for kids (or someone young at heart) with a view of the river and a small deck to access the lower patio. Everyone's FAVORITE room is the three-season sunroom with wrap-around windows that gives a glorious view of the river and access directly to the upper deck. Although not heated, I have winterized it so that the space heater and fireplace will keep this room comfortable as long as the outside temperature is not below 20 degrees. In the summer, the puffy couch is the PERFECT, comfy location for binge-watching your favorite Netflix, Apple+, Disney+, Hulu, Amazon Prime, or Discovery+ show, reading a book, or taking a nap. Sleeping the night away with a cool breeze blowing is nothing short of perfection. *I do not consider this a bedroom, but tension rods and curtains for the windows are available if someone is interested in bunking here. After a day enjoying Wisconsin’s winter wonderland, curl up in front of the fireplace with a cocktail or mug of hot chocolate. One of the BEST features in the house, the gas fireplace featuring the authentic Chris-Craft boat (with working lights) will warm you up on a chilly night or for your romantic getaway! This feature alone will make you fall in love with this property and bring you back year after year! On a rainy day or if you’re lucky enough to get snowed in, play games, put puzzles together or kick back in the leather recliners while watching your favorite movie on the 50 inch TV. The retro-inspired kitchen with the oversize granite counter is fully stocked with barware, a coffee and granola bar, toaster, blender, pots and pans, spices, and everything you should need to make a gourmet meal if that's your thing. It also has an incredible view of the river and direct access to the upper deck and gas grill. You bring the ingredients and I'll supply the tools. Your perfect vacation at Serendipity awaits!!! In the winter, access to the local snowmobile trail is mere feet away, across the street- search Sundowners Snowmobile Edgerton, Wisconsin, for a map of the groomed trails. There is plenty of room on my parking pad for your vehicle, trailer, and winter toys. For the rest of the year, mere minutes upriver is the public landing where you can offload your boat, cruise to my dock, and tie off for your stay. My street is dead-end, so traffic is limited with additional space for street parking. I will periodically stop to water my plants and garden area, remove snow, or put the garbage out, but will not enter the house. Quiet, family-owned homes. New parking pad with space for 2 vehicles or one vehicle and a boat trailer. There is also limited street parking. My home is very special to me and if you are interested in being a guest, please know that my neighborhood is well established, family-oriented, and quiet. If you are looking for a place to kick back, relax and make some memories that will last a lifetime, I'd love for you to enjoy my little slice of heaven!
