The apartment is located in the centre of Lavrio with view of its picturesque port. It is very new, furnished with a lot of meraki, in order to meet everyday needs. In a distance of 5 minutes on foot there are plenty of bars, restaurants, traditional tavernas, bakeries and supermarkets.The central port of Lavrio is 10 minutes on foot away from the apartment. The airport of Eleftherios Venizelos is 25 minutes away by car.The distance between the temple of Poseidon and the apartment is about 9km. Lavrio is a city of great mineral interest from the ancient period. In the port there is the French Ladder from which the metals of Lavrio were loaded for transport in France. For that reason, in Lavrio operates the Mineral Museum of Lavrion inside the Lavrion Technological and Cultural Park, which is open for visitors. During the summer period, the Park hosts also cultural events like: live concerts, theatrical performances of Ancient Greek and Modern Theater, etc. Apart from its historical side, in the municipality of Lavrio there are also lots of organized beaches for swimming and sunbathing.
