Eva’s Country Cottage

Our little cottage is halfway between Nashville and Chattanooga. It is only an hour to either city. Bonnaroo is just 7 miles up the road and Jack Daniels Distillery and Lynchburg are only 30-45 minutes away. This is a quiet, peaceful getaway that is close to lots of entertainment venues. Bluegrass Underground is just 10 miles away. Large lakes and winding rivers are not far away and we have kayaks that you are welcome to use. The porch is covered and there are several chairs for outdoor sittin’. It is a small porch and has a ceiling fan for comfort. We love having guests and enjoy meeting new people. However, we believe that our guests should have their space. If you need us, we are right next door and will be happy to respond to your requests. Guests are welcome to come over and say hey and visit but we will not invade your privacy. Eva would have been so happy to know that her home now welcomes all kinds of travelers from everywhere! We honor her memory with comfort and cordiality. The view from our little country house is beautiful morning and night. There is a main highway that runs in front of the house but it is not a high traffic road, unless interstate 24 is closed, which rarely happens. There are other houses within sight, but none within throwing distance, except ours. We are behind the cottage and available if needed. Please be aware that we are in a rural area and there are no taxis or Uber drivers in the area. There is easy parking immediately in front of the house. This is my childhood home that we have fixed up to accommodate visitors. It is comfortable and very clean and we strive to be the best hosts possible. Any problems you experience, we are happy to resolve immediately. We want you to enjoy your stay.
