Kjelds House Rørvig

Kjelds house is a small recently renovated resort with dining kitchen, wood stove, living room and niche with a double bed. A modern compost toilet, outdoor bath house, bunk room with 2 beds have separate entrances. There are free bikes available and a large terrace with nice shelter connects all buildings. At the edge of a clearing on the large forest and wilderness plot is a small campfire site. Here you can enjoy the sunset and with a little luck see deer and birds of prey. It is located on a 6000 m2 large forest and wilderness plot just south of the idyllic Rørvig and you can have a summer holiday here as you did in the 60s. There is a campfire in the sunset area and an outdoor grill. Bikes are available in many sizes. You will have access to the house, the annex, the small workshop, the bathing building and the 6000 m2 plot around. We are next door neighbours and are available most of the time. Rørvig is one of the most popular summer holiday places in Denmark. The small idyllic harbour has a ferry boat, a lot of sailing boats, restaurants and possibilities to bathe and to catch crabs in the water near the central peer. It is alto possible to wind surf and kite surf in the bay. The nearby town Nykøbing Sjælland is a nice small town, also with a harbour and with many small shops. Rørvig is situated in the northern part of Zealand. With your bike you can reach the harbour in 5-10 minutes, the grocery store in 5 minutes, the beech on the north coast with the best white sand you can imagine in 15 minutes and the nearest town Nykøbing Sjælland in 30 minutes. Public transport to the nearest town Nykøbing Sjælland is about 30 minutes. You can take the ferryboat, the train and the S-train and reach Copenhagen in about 2,5 hours.
