Escape to Nature's Nook which offers a peaceful rural getaway. You will be treated to spectacular views across the Winchester countryside and wildlife right outside your doorstep. Nature's Nook is perfectly located, nestled on the edge of a bluebell wood with country walks just minutes away and the historical city of Winchester only a 10 minute drive away. You have a private car parking space leading to an idyllic winding lit path through the woods to your cabin. Nature's Nook is on a working arable farm but is tucked away in a quiet corner. Nature's Nook offers a cosy open plan living area, double bed, simple kitchen and a seperate bathroom with toilet and shower. Linen, towels and mini toiletries are provided as well as tea, coffee and milk. There is a breakfast bar with stools which could also be used as a desk space. A large leather sofa to curl up on and relax with a good book. Outside there is a decking area with a table and chairs and a firepit which can be used as a BBQ grill. We provide a key lockbox so you can self check in. Our house is a short distance from Nature's Nook and Sara will be available to contact at any time during your stay. A guest book with information on the local area will be provided in the cabin. Nature's Nook is conveniently situated with country walks and cycle routes just minutes away. Farley Mount Country Park is a short 10 minute walk away and perfect for walking, cycling and picnicking. You may want to bring your wellies if wet! Less than a 5 minute drive away is the village of Hursley where you will find 2 village pubs, a butchers, and a small village shop. Nature's Nook is just a 10 minutes drive from Winchester which is home to the impressive Winchester Cathedral and the famous King Arthur's Round Table. Enjoy beautiful walks up St. Catherine's Hill and the water meadows of St. Cross. Take a walk through time at Wolvesley Castle, the old ruins of a Bishop's palace. You will be spoilt for choice with the impressive range of shops, restaurants and coffee shops to be enjoyed on the High Street. There is a bus stop in Standon which is a 10 minute walk away. Winchester train station is a 15 minute drive. A direct train to London is only 60 minutes. Local taxi services are available. Nature’s Nook has heating so will be cosy for guests all year round including the colder winter months.
