Quiet and idyllic holidayapartment
Located in the center of the Palatine Forest, you find our holidayapartment in the hidden valley called Imsbacherhof. The house is situated on the southern slope between Trulben and the health resort Eppenbrunn, close to the French border. Around our premises you can do sports like table tennis, basket ball, hiking and bike riding. The apartment comprises of two bedrooms, one of which with TV; from the spacious living room with loggia you have a marvellous vista into the valley. The large kitchen for 4 persons is equipped with dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, kettle, coffee -, coffee pad-, espresso machine, toaster, and more; The bathroom has a tub with showers and double sink. Hairdryer, towels and beddings are provided. There is also an additional guest WC. WIFI is available. For your sports & recreation activities: Table tennis in covered-over outdoor area, open air basket ball ground and chess board outdoors, also barbecuing and more. Walks and hiking to the Altschlossfelsen (rock), Teufelstisch adventure park etc. On foot or by bike (for rental at € 5.- per bike/ day) you reach Ropeviller, Walschbronn and Waldhouse, where you enjoy Cuisine Alsaciénne (Alsatian & Lorraine kitchen) like tarte flambée etc. By car you reach Pirmasens in 20 min for shopping, swimming pools (open air and indoor), visiting the experimental museum "Dynamikum", a shoe museum, a show- chocolate factory and more. Within a radius of 10 to 30 km (6 to 20 mls) hiking tours lead you to fortresses and historic sites: e. g. Dahn, Burg Berwartstein and Trifels near Annweiler. In the Lorrain city of Bitche (Bitsch) you'll see a grand citadelle; also the Maginot Line (from WWI and II) alongside the Geman border waits to be explored. Traces of the Roman invasion can be seen in the European Culture Park Bliesbruck- Reinheim (c. 40 km, 25 mls); there also former Celtic habitation can be traced.
