The Annexe Rusper House located in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside at the end of a private lane backing on to fields. 2 bedroom 2 shower rooms annexe set over 2 floors. Large kitchen/breakfast room ( white goods inc washing machine ) Lounge is large and opens on to a balcony. There is a desk in the corner. 1 double bedroom is on this floor with the 2nd bedroom consisting of 2 single beds on the lower floor. This opens up on to a patio with views across the private 1 acre garden. Penn is a quintessential English village close to the market towns of Beaconsfield, High Wycombe, Chesham, Princes Risborough and Thame. The Prime Ministers country retreat is also near by. The village is known for its links to the making of Nanny Mcphee and Midsomer Murders. The village is home to the Chef and TV personality Mary Berry, Pauline Quirke and Gaby Logan to name a few! The Annexe is a short walk to the village green with a delightful duck pond where you can sit and drink a freshly brewed coffee from the little cafe or enjoy an ice cream from the village store. Situated in the heart of the Chiltern Hills which offers numerous country walks and rambles. Near to the following attractions Cliveden House owned by the National Trust formaly home to the Astor family West Wycombe Park although owned by the National trust it is home to the Dashwood family since the 1700. Hughenden Manor is owned by the National Trust and was once home to Benjamin Disraeli Blenheim Palace owned by the Duke of Marlborough was the birth place and family home of Sir Winston Churchill Bekonscot Model Village was built in the 1930's and renowned to be the oldest model village in England. It is family run and has donated 5.5million to charities over the years. LegoLand Windsor The Annexe is entirely self contained with own entrance you have the use of all of the space. There is a large balcony with electric canopy for hot sunny days accessed via patio doors from the lounge and a sunken courtyard patio accessed through patio doors from the lower bedroom. We live in the main house and are around most of the time. We have a key safe by the front door of The Annexe for your convenience of arrival and departure as we may not be there to meet and greet you. A mobile number is supplied in The Annexe guide which you will find in the kitchen in case you need us. Rusper House is situated at the end of a quiet Private Road. You really need a car although there is a regular bus service in the village 5 mins walk which provides public transport to High Wycombe and Beaconsfield both of which have train stations . London is 25 mins away, and Bicester Village Retail outlet is similar.
