18th Century Cottage with great views

Enjoy a lovely cottage in a rural setting with easy access to Holmfirth center, numerous footpaths and the Peak District. Beautiful views from the back garden with a gorgeous sunset in the summer months. This is the perfect getaway for a family with young children. We have an ensuite with king bed and brand new mattress, a children's room with toddler bed (or cot) and a mini cot and a third bedroom with a double pullout. There is a footpath right outside the door of the cottage and many more! We love this area for the scenic views of the Holme Valley, the quiet atmosphere and friendly people. Guests are easy walking distance from numerous footpaths and walks and the village of New Mill. Holmfirth is an 8 minute drive and you can reach the Peak District by car in 20 minutes. The footpath outside of the cottage leads to New Mill in about 10 minutes. There you can find a Coop,a post office and a chemist for supplies. There is also a nice park there for the little ones. Hepworth village is a 20-25 minute walk and is a quaint spot with many footpaths and a good pub. We have seating for 2 in the front garden and for 4 in the back. There are also 2 bean bag chairs in the house that can be brought outside to relax in. There is a fire pit for chilly evenings. Our family bathroom is due to be renovated at the end of August. Until then there are 2 newly installed showers and we apologize for any inconvenience.
