Comfortable fully equipped cottage ideally located close to Cambridge in the village of Whittlesford which has a mainline railway station (Cambridge from 9 mins, London from 60 mins). It is 5 minutes drive to Duxford Imperial War Museum, 15 minutes to Addenbrookes Hospital and 22 miles to Stansted airport. Completely self contained, separate building Large living/dining room with large TV and extensive DVD collection Spacious fully equipped kitchen with new appliances Two bedrooms, one with queen size bed and one with double bed, wardrobes and drawers for clothes in both rooms. A futon also available by prior arrangement and additional charge of £10 (unless booking for a group of 5) Bathroom Entrance hall Private patio area Parking for two cars available on driveway Wifi Separate entrance and facilities. Guests will have private use of whole cottage and patio area. I am usually here to meet and greet guests but there is a key safe for access enabling 24 hour check in/out. We live across the driveway and can be available to help with any queries but we are also respectful of our guests privacy. The village has a shop/post office, gallery, gift shop and a excellent pub/restaurant called The Tickell Arms ( (Website hidden by Airbnb) and a recently opened restaurant called Provenance ( (Website hidden by Airbnb) which serves delicious lunches and suppers from Thursday to Saturday. The mainline station gives easy access to Cambridge and London. There are ample opportunities for Cambridge sightseeing, walking, cycling and is the perfect location for a trip to the Imperial War Museum Duxford and for the air shows. The pretty market town of Saffron Walden is 8 miles away and Newmarket, the Home of Racing, is 16 miles away. The kitchen is stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, condiments, basic cooking ingredients and breakfast foods including freshly laid eggs from our hens, Gladys, Gloria, Wendy, Wanda, Cynthia, Sonia, Mary, Fanny, Delia and Nigella. Mainline station to Cambridge and London. Park and ride located on outskirts of Cambridge (4 miles) also providing easy access to Cambridge. Imperial War Museum Duxford walk/short drive away. There will be all you need for a hearty breakfast including freshly laid eggs from our hens, Gladys, Gloria, Wendy, Wanda, Cynthia, Sonia, Mary, Delia, Fanny and Nigella
