The holiday home stands in the charming Niesetal on the foot of the Weser Uplands. The horizon forms towards the western ridge of the Teutoberg Forest. The fireplace in the living area is just for decoration. The recent findings from this region dates back to the Romans, who travelled from Lippe to Weser. From this home, you can easily reach the hiking trails and visit the traditional, artists town of Schwalenberg as well as the wonderfully placed Benedictine Abbey called Marienmünster. The holiday home is located in the western side of Weser Uplands, which is close to the southern foothills of Teutoburg Forest. In addition to the natural attractions in this water and foliage-rich, forested, mountainous landscape, this is also one of the richest cultural landscapes of Germany. The region around this home is attractive with German Fairy Tale Routes, the Weser Renaissance Route, the World Heritage Monastery and the Castle of Corvey, the Fürstenberg Porcelain Factory, the Westphalian Open-Air Museum in Detmold – the largest open air museum of Germany, the Externsteine, the Hermann’s Monument and many other attractions. There are numerous health resorts in the neighbourhood that are alluring with several different attractions.
