Whether you are coming to see a show in the famous Buxton Opera House or to simply enjoy the countryside & fresh air then Hope Cottage is in a great location for it all, located half way between Buxton & The Hope Valley A new to market holiday cottage, consisting of 1 double bedroom & 1 single bedroom. A travel cot can be provided if needed. You will come through the front door and into the livng area with a bespoke handmade kitchen towards the back, fully equipped for a cosy meal in. Bamboo covered seating area to the back of the house with steps up to a small patio area where you can enjoy the views Hope Cottage is a lovely place to stay as a base for exploring the Peak District National Park or just for enjoying the local rural tranquillity. Situated in the hamlet of Sparrow Pit in the heart of the Peak District, there are views to the front over rolling countryside. To the rear the, vista stretches to Mam Tor and the hills around Castleton, a village ever popular with visitors and walkers, and renowned for its Blue John caves and caverns. The village farm shop is close by and, as well as a number of walks from the door. Nearby are Buxton, Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Lyme Park. The nearest small town, Chapel-en-le Frith, where all shopping can be done, is a short drive away. The spa town of Buxton is a delight with its Opera House, Crescent and Pump Room, and the famous ’Buxton Water’, available straight from the well.
