Lodge Cottage

Lodge Cottage offers basic but comfortable self-catering accommodation set within 32 acres of woodland. The cottage has 4 bedrooms providing accommodation for up to 6 guests. There is a fully equipped kitchen, communal lounge and dining area, 2 bathrooms, garden and plenty of parking. This is an ideal location for families wanting a break and those walking or cycling the South Downs Way and the surrounding area. Office Hours - Monday to Friday 8.30 - 4.30. Messages left over the weekend will be answered on Monday. For those who enjoy the outdoors we offer various activities including a climbing wall, abseiling, rifle shooting, archery and much more. All activities must be pre-booked with at least 2 weeks notice directly through Lodge Hill and are subject to availability. The fenced garden has a BBQ stand, fire pit and outdoor seating. You have access to this outdoor space but there is no access to the rest of the site. There is plenty of walking routes just across the road from Lodge Cottage. There will be a Duty Manager available for emergencies only. Their number will be given to you prior to your arrival date. Lodge Cottage is in a private area of Lodge Hill away from other Airbnb properties. Surrounded by woodland and nature, it's the perfect place for families to just relax and get away from it all. There are lots of walking routes just outside of Lodge Hill and there is also a local pub just a 15 minute walk away. Lodge Cottage is near a main road which can take you a short drive towards Arundel, with its castle, independent shops, art galleries, restaurants, cafes. Also, the cathedral city of Chichester, Goodwood House and Goodwood racecourse are within a 30 minute drive. There is free parking on site next to the Lodge for up to 5 cars (please enquire if more parking is needed). The nearest train station is Pulborough Station and is approx. 2.8 miles from Lodge Hill. Please ensure all noise is to a minimum by 10:30pm. This includes music, instruments, radios, singing, talking etc. We do not provide towels so please ensure you bring your own as we do not have any spares on site. There is a £40 extra charge for early check in if you have not requested this before your arrival date.
