The Oak Barn

A stunning self contained space above the oak barn. A beautifully newly appointed apartment above our oak barn with a private entrance situated on the edge of the New Forest. Ideal for couples or families alike we are an ideal base for all that the area has to offer be it a fun filled day at Peppa Pig World, quiet Forest walks or exploring the picturesque local villages. There is a small kitchen area where breakfast or picnics can be prepared. This includes a microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge. Upstairs there is a table and chairs or weather permitting enjoy sitting out in a small decking area with lovely views of the fields behind us and our large garden. If you are travelling with children please note that you are welcome to join our 2 on their swings, slide and trampoline! We have space for one car on our driveway. The entrance to the apartment is located at the back of the barn. Please be aware that the space is split between two levels so there are stairs to be climbed. Paultons park home of Peppa Pig! is a picturesque 10 minute walk. Romsey town 3.9 mile drive Lyndhurst 5.4 mile drive Lymington 19 mile drive Bournemouth and it’s award winning beaches 22 mile drive Southampton Westquay Shopping centre 8.5 mile drive 10 minutes walk to the entrance of Paultons Park Your hosts will be available at most times should you need anything and we will be happy to provide any information on the local area that you should require. We are literally a stones throw from Paultons Park and you can enter the park via a lovely 10 minute walk. We have two local pubs one is 2 minutes walk and the other is a 5-10 minute walk so there is plenty of choice for refreshments and dining. If the sun is shining please take the opportunity to have a cold glass of vino on the decking area situated just outside your door. We would like to assure you that we are Covid conscious and therefore we will be taking extra steps to clean and sanitise between each stay.
