Family holiday apartment - 100m from the sea

Nice and simple holiday apartment in the small village of Stomio, right on the coast of the gulf of Corinth and next to the Peloponnese mountains. It can accommodate up to 4 adults. There are many small coves just down the road, 2 minutes walk from the apartment, were you can swim in pristine water! We offer great discounts for long-term stays, just ask us! The apartment is situated on the ground floor (no stairs to climb) of a two-floor holiday house. It has a little yard surrounded by lemon trees and orange trees! The flat for rent is 50 square meters and has two bedrooms with two single beds (90 X 190 cm), a bathroom with a shower and a kitchen with a sofa that can be turned into a bed (85 x 180 cm). You will have private use of the yard outside the apartment's door. Guests will be able to reach me by phone and a person will be available to give them the keys. We can communicate with you in English, French and Greek. Stomio is a quiet little village right on the coast of the Corinthian Gulf surrounded by lemon trees! Many people have chosen this area for their holiday houses, which is the case for the majority of the buildings in the village. The area is ideal for relaxed family holidays by the sea, while in the summer there are several options just a few km from here (Derveni, Akrata & Xylokastro) for the ones that want to enjoy a few nights out. You can find a kafenio (traditional coffee place) in the village that serves some dishes (grilled meat, salads and traditional Greek dishes) and a small place for coffee, waffles and ice cream at a 15 minutes walk. There are many taverns on the coast just a few minutes drive away. The little town of Derveni has a very nice coffee place right on the beach. The village itself does not have any shop or supermarket but you will find one 5 minutes drive by car in Derveni. However, a baker delivers bread every day in the village and stop at every door, so you don't need to go anywhere to get fresh bread! If you have a vehicle, the area offers numerous one-day excursion possibilities in the Peloponese. By car, the village is 1,5 hour from Athens and 45 minutes from Patras. There is as well an hourly bus service connecting the village to the suburban railway (Kiato) where trains depart for Athens and the airport. From Athens' city center, you can alternatively take a bus which departs 3 times a day and brings you directly to Stomio in about 2,5 hours. A bus connects Stomio to the other villages on the coast (in particular to Derveni). The village is situated between Akrata and Xylokastro, two busy holiday cities. Please note that air condition is not available in this flat. However it is quite cool in the summer since it is situated on the ground floor. There are no grocery shops in the village. If you do not have a car, you can take a bus to reach the closest supermarket (5 min drive). Please note as well that the fee for the washing machine, which is situated ouside the flat, is 2 euros per wash (detergent included). Furthermore, the flat has a shower (no bathtub). We kindly ask you as well to inform us when you run out of soap and/or toilet paper so that we can replenish them.
