Cosy Cottage in Grindleford, Peak District

Set in the peaceful Peak District village of Grindleford, our cosy cottage is in the perfect location for a rural retreat. Whether you're cycling, climbing, walking, or just looking for a relaxing break, Grindleford is the ideal location. The cottage is an end-terrace in a friendly neighbourhood. Featuring a wood stove in the living room, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, it is ideally suited to 2 people (cosy for 4!) We have made the most of our small space! The second bedroom has a sofa bed, which folds out into a small double, so while there is potential to sleep 4, the cottage will be much more comfortable with just 2 guests. We live within a minute of the property, so any problems or questions we'll be readily available to help out. Grindleford is a wonderful village within the Hope Valley, which doesn't attract the hustle and bustle of some of the better known Peak District villages. It is brilliantly placed for a range of outdoor pursuits, and you are spoilt for choice when it comes to country pubs in the area. At the other end of the village is Grindleford Station, providing easy access to Sheffield and Manchester. This is about a 25-minute walk away. Parking on the road outside the cottage is never a problem. Bus stop just outside the front door providing links to Sheffield, Bakewell and surrounding villages.
