Rooms are kitted out with everything you'll need and offer quiet places to rest your head with the added bonus of black out blinds. You'll also find a useful workstation in the one of the bedrooms. All beds are dressed in hotel quality linen. Please note: Travel cots are available on request, please provide your own bedding if required. FRESHENING UP There's no need to wait around to get freshened up. You'll have the pick of a main bathroom and ensuite, both modern and full featured. There’s also a cloakroom on the ground floor. Towels and toiletries provided. Washing machine and dryer available with enough tablets to see you through the first few days. Hair Dryer, Iron & Ironing Board provided. RELAXING Put your feet up in the living room, sink into the comfy sofas and watch your favourite movie on the 50” Flat screen Smart TV coupled with high speed broadband and Apple TV. The massive garden is well designed with plenty of garden furniture and a sun room which will give you plenty of opportunity for relaxing or dining al fresco. EATING Cook up a storm with a fully equipped, modern kitchen: Cooker with electric hob Fridge/Freezer Wine Cooler Toaster Microwave Kettle Nespresso Coffee Machine (guests to supply pods) and all the pots and pan one needs! ......and a Dishwasher to help you get them all clean again!! A 5 minute drive into Maidenhead provides an abundance of shops; M&S, Sainsbury, Waitrose, Boots, etc. Get the day off to a good start by visiting Palmieri’s Italian coffee shop - great for breakfast and lunch - 5 minutes walk. THINGS TO DO, PLACES TO SEE It’s an ideal base for visiting London, Windsor, Legoland and the Thames Valley. You are lucky to be surrounded by some great attractions which are suitable for everyone! Along with the extensive list below, this also includes; Burnham Beeches, Savill Gardens, Bekonscot Model Village, Odds Farm Park and Dorney Court. The property is located just around the corner from the River Thames which allows some very picturesque walks and the chance to visit many of the nearby locks with plenty of ice cream stops along the way. At Boulters Lock you’ll be able to relax and watch the river boats idly pass by whilst sipping cocktails in The Boathouse Bar & Restaurant. Windsor Town Centre is easily reached from the property and here you will find the iconic Windsor Castle, The Long Walk, lots of shops and restaurants and it is just a short walk away from Eton and the College. Legoland is a great family day out, especially for the little ones! It is approximately 7 miles away and easily reached by car. Cliveden – this well known National Trust property and Country House is worth a visit for woodland walks and river views. If you’re feeling fancy – you could treat yourself to Afternoon Tea… Dorney Rowing Lake was famously used in the London 2012 Olympics. Today it is best enjoyed for walks, bike rides or other recreational activities whilst watching rowing events, triathlons and beautiful sunsets. For the adrenaline junkies and older families, head to Thorpe Park for a fun day out! There are so many ways to get about in this fantastic location; walk, bike, car, bus, train, boat! The property is approximately 5 miles from Windsor, 7 miles from Legoland and 12 miles from Heathrow Airport. MAIDENHEAD TOWN CENTRE: By foot: 20-25 minutes. By bus: Buses to town centre - 3 mins walk through park to bus stop on St Lukes Road By car: 5 minute drive, a taxi will cost approx £5-£8 and we recommend OnTime Cars or Uber. FURTHER AFIELD: Train: Maindenhead railway station is on the Reading to London line with trains running frequently in both directions. 19 minutes into London!! Boat: Take a peaceful trip down the River Thames on the French Brothers boats. M4 & M40: Both within easy reach transporting you quickly East & West.
