Perfectly located in Sevenoaks, 5 mins walk to Knole Park (best for country walks), 10 mins walk to the high street (lots of cafes, restaurants and shops) and 15-20 mins to the station. The house, as it stands, was built in 2016. It is Scandinavian inspired consisting of five large bedrooms, open plan kitchen/lounge/dining, play/TV room, large private garden with lounge, dining, BBQ arrangements and play equipment for kids. All appliances, bathrooms, heating are top spec and brand new. The home's spacious layout works well for a family or group. A focal point for the house is the large, well-equipped kitchen, living and dining room facing the garden with huge sliding doors giving access to the terrace. All rooms are well-maintained and comfortably furnished. The house is conveniently located near Sevenoaks town centre and local train stations. Train connections to London are frequent. The drive-way and front of the house are to be landscaped further but are perfectly fine to be used. The house comprises of 5 comfortable bedrooms of which three of them are kids bedrooms but suitable for adults to sleep in. It offers a large kitchen/dining/lounge, a separate TV and play room with 55” 4k television and satellite connection. Wifi is included. There are 2 well-appointed bathrooms – both with showers and one with a bath. In addition, there is toilet on the ground floor. There is utility space with washing machine and dryer. Plenty of storage space and a large entrance hallway. During your stay we will be available via mobile. Parklands is situated in the middle of a cul-de-sac so no through traffic. It is a very quiet safe and peaceful residential area and at the same time just a 10 minutes stroll into Sevenoaks town centre. In town you find shops for all your needs and not least plenty of cafes and lovely restaurants to enjoy. The Sevenoaks train station is a mere 15 minutes’ walk away, with frequent trains into central London, which will take you to London Bridge (30 mins), London Charing Cross (40 mins) London Cannon Street (35 mins). Sevenoaks is just outside the London Orbital Motorway (M25) so you can access all of London by car. There are local bus services to nearby towns such as Bromley, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, and Westerham. Golf – The area offering plenty of opportunities to play golf. The Knole Park Golf Club is 5 minutes away. As a visitor you can play if you have a current handicap certificate during weekdays from 9 am. Sightseeing You are perfectly located to explore the many sights, charming towns and villages in the Southeast. There is a wealth of National Trust venues that can be reached by car within 30 mins. Our favourites are our “local” Knole House, Churchill’s Chartwell, Igtham Mote, and Emmets Gardens.
