Hagås

A typical swedish 17th century farm gently restored with traditional materials, which holds 3 sheep in the meadows outside the house. You can pick eggs from the henshouse, or go out in the forest surrounding the house. Renting this farm house is a little bit to experience the old farmer country Sweden but with modern facilities. The house gives you a feeling of old times with old interior design. The surroundings are forest, lakes, meadows and some distant neighbours which also are old style farm houses. At the same time you have a short bike ride to the pittoresk old wodden house town, also known for its many cafe's so that you can experience the swedish fika culture. Staying at this small farm you take care of the sheep and the hens (which per day include one bucket of water to the sheep, one bucket of water and some oat to the hens.) If you like you can pick fresh eggs from the hens house. The surroundings offer forest all around the house where you can run, mountainbike or hike. Renting this house gives you access to the whole house, the garden, the animals, a barbeque, 3 bikes, a sandpit and toys for the children. We really appreciate to meet people from different places and different cultures, but some of the dates we rent out we are at our other farm house more up north in Sweden in the county of Dalarna, then we unfourtunately cant meet up with our guests If they Would like so. You have Västra Bodarna train station 4 km away, and Alingsås train station 5 km away, they both have trains to Göteborg. From Alingsås you can also go further north, for instance Örebro, Stockholm etc. To Alingsås you go easily with bike, car or a walk (40-60minutes). If you like to get sheets and towels for your stay, we can arrange that for a small extra cost, 100 SEK/person per stay.
