The Stables is a luxury grade 2 listed cottage in the centre of historic Lewes. The cottage provides comfortable accommodation for four. It is furnished and equipped to a very high standard of comfort. There is reliable wifi. Pubs, restaurants and shops are only meters away. Glyndebourne opera house is a short taxi ride and Lewes station is less than 10 minutes. By train Brighton is 15 minutes away and london 1 hour. The 2 bedrooms and a wet room are located on the ground floor. The top floor is a lovely double height open plan living kitchen and dining space. We will provide a continental breakfast for the first night and the first bag of logs for the wood burner. Parking in the courtyard can be avaliable on request . The cottage and courtyard are all fully accessible We do not live onsite but help will be avaliable on request by telephone or in person if needed. Lewes is a town of historic importance. Lewes castle and Anne of Cleves house are both a few minutes walk away. Keere Street down which the Prince Regent famously drove a coach is almost opposite and leads to the beautiful Grange Gardens. The Stables has been designed to provide the perfect home from home. Lewes station is less than 10 minutes walk. Buses to Brighton and other places can be found within a 5 minute walk
