West Sussex - barn studio in South Downs Nat Park

A self-contained, cosy loft studio with stunning views to the South Downs, own entrance and parking. Beautiful scenic walks, cycle routes, Goodwood racing/car events, Cowdray Polo/castle, West Dean, West Wittering beach, London and Portsmouth. Secure store for cyclists. Great pubs. We have dogs, cat and chickens, it’s rural yet 3 minutes by car from a station, shops and a great pub. Your space has outside deck, shower room, kitchen with microwave, barbecue, coffee machine. It’s a lovely place. Our home is a very pretty, 16th century cottage set high on the hillside with an impressive yew tree overlooking the Milland valley to the Downs beyond. The loft is a newly built oak frame building with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Double bed, sofa, dining table, ensuite shower room with towels, toiletries, kitchen with fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster, coffee machine and pods, oak floors, smart tv, 4G wifi, hairdryer, iron, There are some dvds, games and books too. We have a large natural garden with woods, vegetable patch, chickens and an area for guests to enjoy with barbecue, seating and stunning views. There is lots to see and do in the area - many fabulous, scenic walks, and trails to explore nearby, lovely pubs with great food, the beach at West Wittering is less than an hour away and there is great shopping at Gun Wharf Quays and Guildford. Chichester Festival Theatre is only half an hour away as is Petworth with it’s antique shops and NT house and parkland. In the studio you will find tea, coffee and a few basics to make your stay as comfortable and hassle free as possible. We can provide breakfast as an extra and keep in some Cook microwavable meals, just incase. You will have space and privacy but as this is our home, we are on-hand if you need anything. We have a large garden and guests have a lovely area to sit in and relax with barbecue. A spot on the drive for you to park your car. Please note we are on a hillside and the garden is hilly. We live at the property and the accommodation is in an annexe, so we are around and happy to be of help to guests as required but equally there is plenty of space for guests to get some privacy. We are in the South Downs National Park in West Sussex. There are no near neighbours and we are situated on a lane between the villages of Liphook and Fernhurst. 15 minutes from Haslemere station, 3 minutes from Liphook station. A car or bike is essential as we are out in the countryside with no immediate public transport available. Liphook has a good and reliable taxi service - Liphook Cars, best booked in advance, offering reasonable station and other transfers. For Airbnb.org guests (people displaced by disaster and war) we would accept children and an extra bed could be included. Cooking and clothes washing facilities would also be made available. Plus transport to the local hub.
