In the history of the house(1850) the location was a storage for colonial goods used by the seafaring branch. In the past centurys this place gave home and shelter to the familys of the seamen. In this rustic historical atmosphere you can feel the spirit of the sailors, when you light the fireplace and the timberfloor starts to creak . from the upper floor of this lodging you have a clear view to the shipping traffic at the weser . From the glas frontage of the living room you have a view to the marina and to both rivers Hunte and Weser which get united in the front of your view You have a own entrance and a washing machine in the basement. we live under the loft and will give local support and answer your questions. The city of elsfleth was a marine capitals in germany and well known for their sailingship manufacturer industry. In the surrounding of the location t is a 12 km long sandbeach which can be reached on foot in aprox 5-7 minutes. On the southside you can reach by bicycle the peninsula Elsflether Sand which is mainly a natural reserve and take a look to the historic third reich Uboot bunker Valentine (by bike 15 minutes ) from the other side of the great river Weser. Elsfleth can be reached also by train from bremen (aprox.30min) If you need a transfer we will pick you up from the station and manage a rental car for you if you need .
