New in 2021...A delightful, modern and well appointed self catering holiday cottage with quality furnishings. Peregrine Cottage offers the perfect base to explore, relax and unwind. Situated in the charming village of Delph, Saddleworth; A historic, scenic area on the Lancashire/Yorkshire border and on the western edge of the Peak District National Park. Designed with comfort and convenience in mind with an extensive range of amenities. The location is beautiful and has a spacious terrace. For holidays, visiting family or needing a base for a business trip, Peregrine Cottage in Delph has everything you need. The location is suited for families, friends and couples alike. A number of places to visit are both on the doorstep or within a short drive away. There are a variety of walks, bike rides, local dining options, shops and even a small local theatre. There is a petting farm, barge rides and numerous parks including an adventure one with an ice cream parlour in neighbouring villages. Families are welcome to use the large flat grassed area for games whilst staying at the cottage. The Saddleworth area itself is historic with Roman ruins, a museum and even an old wreckage of a bomber plane, one are all are worth a visit! Wildlife surrounds you here at the cottage and the birds and squirrels are never far away, together with the regular visits from a local pheasant on the lawns! Having recently undergone a full makeover and upgrade to the highest of standards we launched in 2021 offering a quality, relaxing retreat, in a convenient, delightful position. There are two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with twin beds. In addition there is a put up bed that can be placed in the lounge. We live nearby and are always happy to help Delph is in the area of Saddleworth, one of seven villages, each offering its own attractions, and is situated approximately mid way between Huddersfield and Manchester, straddling the Yorkshire/Lancashire boundary and on the western edge of the Peak District National Park. Buses run regularly from Delph village and the nearest railway station is at Greenfield approximately 3 miles away. Multiple tram stations are also just a few miles away. The M62 motorway, is a 10 minute drive from the property and the M60 a 15 minute drive. Nearest airports are Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds Bradford. Enhanced clean
