Spacious apartment, own terrace and parking space

The apartment is suitable for up to 4 people. It has a shower / toilet, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living / dining area with sofa bed (1.80 * 2m) and a bedroom (1.80 * 2m) with access to the garden and the south terrace (single use). For Babys there is a cot and high chair, potty and toilet seat if necessary. For rainy days, toys, board games, books and a Wii console are available for our guests. Small children can use the playground in the garden. You can also grill on the terrace by arrangement. Fast WIFI is of course available and free of charge. You can use the whole apartment and the terrace by yourself. I leave my guests in peace, but I am available for questions.We live next door and are happy to answer any questions. Should we not be on site, a friend who can be reached by phone will take care of our guests. The apartment has its own autonomous alarm system against burglary and unauthorized entry. The apartment is almost on the edge of the forest. So you can start hiking right away. On the Lindenberg there is the nice restaurant "Bobhütte". There you have excellent cuisine and a great view over Ilmenau. The pretty old town of Ilmenau is only a 10-minute walk away. There you will find many nice restaurants (you can find tips in the apartment), shops and cafes. The nearest supermarket is 650 meters away. The university and the train station can be reached in a few minutes by car. 500m away there is a medical center, a pharmacy and a hospital. It is a 30-minute drive or 1-hour train ride to the beautiful state capital of Erfurt. The Thuringian Forest is ideal for excursions, hikes and cycling tours in every season. The Rennsteig and the winter spa resort of Oberhof (20 minutes by car) are known for their cross-country trails. In Ilmenau itself there is a fun outdoor pool, a summer toboggan run (200m away), tennis courts (900m away) and the possibility of horse riding. In winter, a public indoor swimming pool (1.5 km away), an ice rink (1.5 km away) and numerous cross-country trails can be used for cross-country skiing.
