TAIL END: Bijoux base for Broads, beaches & bikes!
Tail End is a pretty, topsy turvy, end of terrace cottage which sleeps four, in Stalham, a key village in the Broads National Park. It has been newly decorated and appointed throughout in 2021. It has a parking space and a little cottage garden. Its close to many beaches, right next to the Broads, and it's an ideal place to bike - flat and picturesque at the same time. It is pet friendly, too - your dog, cat, even your parrot, are welcome! Ask for details. Having passed through its little cottage garden, you enter Tail Ends' spacious tiled hall. At your 2 o'clock, is the bedroom (with double bed), and at your 4 o'clock is the bathroom. Because this is an upside down house, you take the stairs from the inner hall up to the kitchen / dining room and the lounge. In the lounge, there is a double sofa bed. On the road, car is best because rural bus services are somewhat limited. But on the water - of which we have plenty - there are boats, jet skis etc. for hire in most of the surrounding villages as well as in Stalham, itself. Please note that to keep the Tail End garden looking good, we will need to water it most days - you don't need to do anything. We have a hose set up outside the property and we will use that, usually early, but we won't disturb you. With country roads ideal for cycling, Weaver's Way for walking, the Broads for leisurely boating and the nearby sea for paddling, Stalham Green is a holiday haven. The seal colony at Horsey Gap is one of the largest in the UK during the breeding season. There's so much to love about this place - see my guidebooks for loads more ideas and feel free to ask. Please note that the stairs are open at the top - this means that it may not be suitable for a young, crawling baby. There is no TV but there is Wifi, so just bring a laptop or tablet and you are good to go :)
