Two bedrooms are upstairs, one with a balcony. The master bedroom (full Bed), the living area and the fully equipped kitchen are located on the ground floor. A washing machine is available. Grilling is allowed, a bbq is available. The terrace is equipped with garden furniture and parasol. The property is fenced to the water and therefore suitable for children. Behind the house is a wide canal. Rudd, eels, carp were caught there regularly. The house itself is well insulated and even at tropical temperatures, it stays cool inside. You can park your car directly at the house. There is (de) Sat. tv and (nl) cable tv. In Oostmahorn there are a variety of facilities including: -children’s outdoor play areas - There are 3 playgrounds. One at the beach, one has an air-trampoline and an indoor playground. The third one is at the holiday park "de Schans". -for children, there is a 300-meter long sandy and grass beach. -there is a large good quality supermarket, a snack bar, pizzeria, a cafeteria on the beach, and 3 restaurants. Next to the bungalow park is a harbor where you can rent boats, surfboards or bicycles. -Leisure activities: golf course at Pitch & Putt in Esonstad, angling, hiking, fishing -Sport adventure activities: cycling, wind-surfing, hiking, swimming, and angling There are miles of sandy beaches on the main island Ameland and Schiermonnikoog. In the area near the park is a sailing/surfing school with a beautiful beach. In the area: -in the nearby Frisian village of Anjum are shops, restaurants, Atm and the supermarket "coop". -the nearby National Park Lauwersmeer is a paradise for fishermen, water sports enthusiasts, nature lovers, hikers, and cyclists. -you can take a sightseeing cruise on the Lauwersmeer or at the Wadden Sea, where you can watch the seals. -if you like shopping, you can visit the beautiful old town of Dokkum. -on the islands of Ameland and Schiermonnikoog, there are miles of sandy beaches. There is a good timetable to reach the islands by boat. House rules: -Sunday check-in not available. - Check-in time: earliest arrival time 15:00 - Well behaved pets are welcome. For a dog, we charge 5 Eur per day. Dogs must be registered in advance. -Tourist tax of 1,00 Eur per night per person, we collect it at the location. -linen/towels/kitchen towels must be brought along. Bed linen/towel sets available on loan. 1-bed linen package. (fitted sheet + duvet cover + pillowcase) and 2 kitchen Towels 12,50 eur. 1 set of towels (1 bath towel + 2 hand towels + 1 bath mat) 5 Eur. -Fishing license price: 15 Eur per week. -Barbecue is allowed. -Smoking in the house leads to loss of security deposit.
