Fully appointed kitchen so you can prepare meals at home, or grab takeout from one of the area's amazing restaurants. Master bedroom has a new king bed and a spa bathroom, with a meditation loft. Guest room has a new queen bed, separate bathroom, and door onto the deck. Fully appointed kitchen and dining area also has a door onto the deck. Brand new mini split heating and AC units throughout the house. Settle in for a movie on the smart TV with access to Netflix. Separate living area off of the kitchen has french doors that open onto the deck. The house has a fully fenced yard and sits on 2 acres, with hiking trails nearby. NOTE-- Up to 2 clean and well-mannered dogs are permitted on the property, with preapproval. Pets are not allowed on furniture (inside and outside) or beds. There is a $100 fee per reservation for pets. Once you send reservation request, I will reply with steps for pet fee. The entire 2 acre property is all yours! The yard is fully fenced for supervised, off-leash time for your dog. I’m available to help with any issues or give tips on activities, but we are not on site, so you have ultimate privacy! We are located in a small, private community just outside of Marshall, NC. We are adjacent to the Prama Institute and Wellness Center, which hosts frequent yoga and meditation retreats. It is a half mile walk down to the French Broad River and a 5 minute drive into Marshall. The property is located on a gravel/dirt road about a half mile from the pavement, with a couple of hills. The road to the house can be impassable in the winter, when there is snow and ice. There is a place to park below and hike up to the house, but we strongly encourage travel insurance during winter months. To our lovely guests, We know it is a confusing and stressful time, so we hope you are excited about planning your trip to our amazing mountain community! This thing will run it's course and we want to assure you that we are doing everything to ensure your comfort and health. Our housekeepers are taking the extra measure of wiping down all surfaces with a bleach mixture, so you can truly unplug and relax! Downward Dog is totally private on two acres, so you can venture out with your hand sanitizer, then come home to a beautiful space with plenty of "social distance" lol!!
