Beautiful romantic apartment

Lovely decorated 17th century apartment (ground floor) in the most beautiful part of historical Leiden. Walking distance to/from the Central Station. Airport by train: 20, Amsterdam: 30 minutes. Two persons, no children or babies. No smoking. The apartment on the groundfloor is very comfortable, although not very big. The rooms are spacious enough for 2 people and the small patio is nice to have a drink or a meal outside. Everything is very clean, tidy and organised. Quest have access to all parts of the apartment, all wardrobes, cupboards etc. Whatever is in stock, like coffee, tea, olive oil, etc is free for the guests. They can, if they wish, also use the big medieval cave/cellar underneath. I will welcome the guest upon arrival, give them the 'grand tour' and hand them the keys. Being an Art Historian, I would love to give the guests a guided tour through the historical centre. The neighbourhood is like being back in time for at least 300 years. This area, dominated by the church of St. Peter (14th century), was once the centre of the Leiden world famous wool industry in the 17th century. In daytime every hour you hear the sound of the carillon from the historical City Hall (16th century). Restaurants, bars are everywhere nearby and so is the market alongside the canals on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Busstop 1 minute walking distance, Central Station on 12 minutes walking distance (or 5 minutes by bus). By train you will be in Amsterdam or the Hague within 30 minutes. After a day's visit in the big city it will be nice to come back in the peaceful friendly town of Leiden. Distance to the beach only 12 km. Windows and doors have beautifully decorated stained glasses with small panels that look like paintings made by Rembrandt.
