An Oasis in the centre of the town

The StadsOase (Oasis in Town) is located at the Martinikerkhof, a beautiful and quiet park in the historical centre of Groningen, at a very short distance of the historical buildings and the shopping centre. Each room has its own characteristics, style and atmosphere; each nicely decorated by different combinations of antique, ‘brocante’ and modern. Breakfast is organic with local breads, cheeses, sausages, jams, fresh orange-juice etcetera., which will be served in your room. If you prefer cereals or a vegetarian breakfast please let me know in advance. The bathroom -on the second floor- has a shower and a bath On the first floor you will find the Big Room (33 m²) with an authentic French Bed with modern comfort (140 x 200). Through the windows you have a wonderful view upon the park and the historical buildings. On the second floor there is the Small Room (20 m²) with a big hotel quality 'lits-jumeaux' (twinbed, 2 x 90 x 210), and the Third Room (not as exclusive as the other rooms) with a 'lits-jumeaux' (twinbed, 2 x 80 x 200) and a single bed. Parking is not allowed on the Martinikerkhof. After dropping your luggage, you have to leave your car in a parking garage. Public transport is convenient because all the buses have a stop nearby. I have an old Citroen DS (1965), and with that Godess I can show you the most beautiful spots in the countryside.
