Cosy log cabin on a working farm, own garden, off road parking, dogs welcome. Situated just outside the picturesque village of Writtle, on the outskirts of Chelmsford. Small log cabin suitable for couples and families. One double bedroom and one small twin bedroom. Rustic and rural. Potential space to put up a tent in the garden for a couple of additional guests* Ability to walk dogs on a lead on site* Please pickup dog poo in bags and put in the wheelie bin There is a lockable shed where you can keep bicycles if you bring you own Please do not wander around the busy farm yard. *Rules apply No public walking in farm yard but there is access to a track to walk (dogs on leads) map of area in folder I’m happy to meet guests; if you would like me to meet you please arrange it in advance. I’m happy to receive a few messages (preferably through Airbnb unless urgent) I appreciate there maybe a few teething problems but please be aware my phone is not on overnight (family first!). Writtle village is a beautiful place to visit with a green and a duck pond, a few places to eat, church, library, fish n chip shop, Co-op amongst other things. Chelmsford City centre is a short drive away, with plenty of things to do: parks, leisure centre, cinema, shopping, bars, pubs market etc. Parking on site, 20 min walk to nearest bus stop, 15 mins to city centre by car, local shops approx 5 mins by car/bike There is a Cafetiere for making coffee.
