Delightfully Refurbished Semi Detached House

Openness was the key theme to the 2018 refurbishment ; the Kitchen and Dining rooms merged into one with large doors extending this space further onto the patio (when our British weather allows!). Space re arranged upstairs to include a bathroom and three separate bedrooms. Taking the chimney breast out was quite a job but provided room for the corridor and made the new layout work quite well my Home for many years and, following the refurbishment, I keep thinking about moving back in! No 8 Features a Master bedroom, a second bedroom and a bunk room. The 'Master bedroom' has a double bed, the second bedroom a small double (the room is a bit small for this - please don't come expecting this to be spacious') and the Bunk room has a Bunk bed ( full length however only 2'6" wide). The property is served by an upstairs bathroom with the shower over bath arrangement. ( There is a downstairs toilet however the installation of this innovative innovation is not fully completed). Please note this is a traditional Victorian Semi and the Stairs are very steep. This may make the property unsuitable anyone concerned about steep stairs or very young kids. Downstairs the Kitchen and Dining spaces have been merged; 'pillarless' Bifold doors open onto the patio. This provides a great space to relax after work. Whole House, patio and garden 'mainly laid to lawn'. I now live just 2 miles away so generally available to help with anything needed Most things within walking distance. Simrans, local Newsagent / post office 100yds away, out the gate and turn right, right again at the end of the road. Co - Op is a bit further in Farncombe. Walking distance from Farncombe Train Station ; 15 min walk to Godalming. Parking is available in the road - dont park outside the hall as you risk a ticket. The road is narrow! Situated within the Surrey Hills Mountainbiking mekka the house is an excellent base for 'exploring' The Surrey Hills. Trails and Bridleways abound the area. Mountain bikes may be hired from Surrey Hills Cycle Hire who operate locally and can deliver bikes to the house. Previous guests have spoken very highly of. Broadband is super high speed - accessable by WiFi . No TV ! Farncombe Station is a short 5 min walk away. Parking in the road is limited ; and the road narrow so tricky for large vans.
