The White House is a period cottage arranged over split levels with direct access to footpaths leading to the South Downs Way. Located on a quiet country lane offering a rural and tranquil setting within a 5 min walking distance to the beautiful historic market town of Steyning with its many shops, restaurants, pubs and regular farmers markets. The White House enjoys a lovely private garden with far reaching views, a courtyard and barbeque and seating area. Ideal place to stay for walking, mountain biking or just enjoying the countryside. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Living next door we will welcome you and be on hand if you require any further assistance during your stay. Steyning is one of the prettiest Sussex towns. It offers a fine high street, historic buildings, good shops restaurants and pubs and lovely countryside nearby. Steyning is nestled into the South Downs and close to Brighton, Worthing and Horsham, with easy access by road and buses from Worthing, Brighton (via Shoreham) and Horsham. the nearest train station is Shoreham-by-Sea 7 miles away.
