Our 5 bedroom, 3 bath house, pool table, ping pong, a wood burning stove, fully equipped kitchen, and a lovely outdoor space is perfect for families and couples to cozy up for a little R&R and some quality time together. Stay in for some good old fashioned fun or head out to explore the surroundings to enjoy the many compelling activities the Catskills has to offer. We hope to greet you soon! We are central located just minutes from downtown Walton perfect for those who want the remote feeling with easy access to all of the essentials. We welcome you to explore the rich farmland, abundant wildlife, farm to table restaurants, wine tasting, breweries, canoeing, fishing, hiking, skiing/snowboarding/tubing, local live music events, and breath taking views overlooking the quaint village. It is home of the annual Delaware County Fair – where our surrounding communities come together in an old-time county fair with animals, 4H shows, demolition car derby, and rides for all. Enjoy the quiet countryside and a laid back way of life in a community where people pull together in adversity. We welcome you to join us! What "The Walton House" has to offer: -5 bedrooms Master Suite: King size bed, private bath with 3 way shower head, dressers, Roku TV, luggage racks, seating area space for a crib or extra bed if needed. Bohemian Family Suite: King size bed, day bed nook, a dresser, and extra space for the whole family. Cottage Room: Queen size bed, dresser, and lots of light. Pretty In Pink Room: Queen size bed, dresser, and lots of light. Vintage Nook Room: Full size bed, dresser, and a cozy vibe. -Back porch entrance with easy Key pad entry equipped with firewood and seating. -Fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials, seating for 6, and more. -Ping pong room to bring out the competitive side in us all. -Pool table/lounge room. -Cozy family room with plenty of seating, a Roku TV-lots of DVD's, old school Play Station One, a wood burning stove, books for reading by the fire, a game cabinet, and a dining table for 10. -Outdoor patio with seating for 6, a grill prefect for BBQ's at sundown after a long day of hiking or Canoeing on the Delaware river, a fire pit for s'mores circled with Adirondack chairs, and a spacious backyard for all kinds of summer time hangs. -1st floor bathroom equipped with laundry washer/dryer if staying for a bit. -Front porch with Victorian windows for coffee, sun, and people watching in the mornings. -2nd floor shared tub/shower -Some essentials such as paper products for sort term stays, linens, towels provided. -Printer and internet access for the stay at home workers A code will be given for easy access. We will respond to inquiries or questions within a couple of hours. A local house manager will be available to attend to any house concerns/needs during your stay.
