Magnolia Cottage on the edge of the New Forest.
The Cottage sleeps 2 and is set in the gardens of Camellia Lodge with access through automatic gates. There is parking in front of the Cottage and you will be given a key fob for the gates. There is a games room with a pool table, darts board and tv. One well behaved dog is welcome; please provide details on your initial enquiry as we reserve the right to decline certain breeds. Located on the north eastern edge of the New Forest National Park in East Wellow with easy access to the A36 and M27. There is an easy access ramp leading up to the Cottage front door. Inside, the bedroom is furnished with a 5' bed, wardrobe, dressing table and side tables with bedside lamps and a 24" freeview tv with an in built dvd player. The sitting room has a 2 seater sofa and an easy chair with a foot stool, a 43" freeview tv also with in built dvd player. Wifi gives access to Netflix on both tvs. The sitting room has a small round dining table for 2. A fully equipped kitchen with an electric oven, microwave, toaster and fridge/freezer. The shower room has a good size electric shower, wash basin, wc, a mirrored bathroom cabinet and a heated towel rail. The Cottage is centrally heated, carpeted in the sitting room and bedroom. Bed linen and towels are provided as well as tea, coffee, sugar and semi-skimmed milk. Please no smoking in the Cottage. One, well - behaved dog is welcome. However, please provide details (specify breed/age/sex) on your initial enquiry as we retain the right to refuse certain breeds. There is a separate games room located in the Cottage garden with a pool table, darts board and smart tv with an in-built dvd player and access to Netflix. The South Downs National Park is readily nearby as are several national nature reserves (Studland and Godlingston Heath; Hartland Moor and many areas of outstanding national beauty (Dorset; Cranborne Chase and Chichester Harbour)). Indeed, the stunning Dorset coastline is often referred to as the Jurassic Coast which is classified as a World Heritage site. There are 2 notable landmarks. Firstly, Durdle Door, one of the most recognisable images with its stunning arch caused by the erosion of the limestone by the sea. Lulworth Cove is a wonderful circular cove formed due to some unique aspects of the local rock formation and sea erosion. Locally, the New Forest offers an abundance of wildlife and nature with ponies, deer, pigs, donkeys, sheep and cattle all roaming free. Owls, otters and wolves are among the residents of the New Forest Wildlife Park. Exbury Gardens and Hillier Gardens are home to exotic trees plus colourful rhododendrons and azaleas. The New Forest region is known for its heathland and forest trails. There are numerous country pubs and pleasant tea rooms serving delightful food in the area. There is easy access to the cities of Salisbury, Southampton and Winchester, the towns of Romsey, Bournemouth and Poole and numerous tourist attractions such as the Highclere Castle, Mottisfont Abbey, Avebury Stones, Paultons Park and Stonehenge. Whinwhistle Coarse Fishery and several excellent local golf clubs offer local sporting venues/attractions. Magnolia Cottage has ample parking and its own garden with barbeque, table (with parasol) and chairs. All separate from the main house. Games room is also in your garden.
