Deluxe Centrally Located Loft with En Suite

This large loft room with its en suite shower room enjoys panoramic views over the historic market town of St Ives. From its very central location guests may easily access the numerous restaurants, cafes and bars in the town. In addition, it takes just a minute to walk to the nearest guided busway stop with its access to central Cambridge and beyond. Please note that access to the room involves climbing two flights of stairs. It’s worth the effort! The south facing aspect gives commanding views across the town with its church spires and historic buildings. You will be treated to a Super King size memory foam mattress, plus guests will have access to super fast broadband and there is a large smart TV with Sky Movies and Sport, Netflix and Amazon TV Maria and Steve will generally be immediately available for much of the duration of your stay to assist and make themselves useful. The town revolves around its long association with its favourite son, Oliver Cromwell. Check out the Norris museum for a wealth of local information. Apart from the town itself, with its wealth of bars, cafes and restaurants, the location provides access to the river Great Ouse and is the perfect starting point for many beautiful countryside walks. There is some overnight on street parking outside the property, plus there’s an inexpensive (£3/24hrs) council run car park just 50m away. We can offer secure (behind gates) car parking, for a small additional charge. Buses run into both Cambridge and Huntingdon town centres every 15 minutes or so during the day (£7 all day ticket). The bus stop is just 60m away. COVID 19: I have undertaken to make the space as COVID secure as practicable. After a normal clean the bedroom and bathroom will then be further sanitised, as much as possible, with touchable surfaces being wiped with alcohol based cleanser, as will all keys, switches, handles and other door furniture. The rooms are well ventilated and fully aired. Hand sanitiser, disposable gloves and other general cleaning products will be left in the bedroom for your own use. All linen and towels are washed at high temperature and may be replaced every day of your stay if required. You’ll find a kettle, Nespresso machine, selection of teas and coffees, bottled water and biscuits, all with our compliments, waiting in your room.
