Private secure off-street parking and access to miles of countryside walks. We are available most days in the cottage if you need any help or local advice on where to go, eat. Eakring is a small village set in the countryside, there is a local pub and also a tearoom which are very good. Please be considerate to others in the village when visiting and you will find that everybody is friendly and accomodating. Parking is outside the cottage with plenty of room for around 6 vehicles with ease. The cottage is located at the end of school lane which in fairness can best be described as a "bumpy" loose gravel road.. drive slowly. Eakring itself is situated between Rufford Park, Sherwood Pines with lots of woodland and open countryside around it. if you like Mountain or road biking then your in the perfect place with miles and miles of wither onroad or offroad options. Nearest town is Newark on Trent or the next nearest village is Ollerton for Supermarkets and Sightseeing. Located near, Sherwood Pines, Sherwood Forest, Rufford Park, Centre parks, Clumber Park amongst many others. Perfect location for MTB and road bikers
