Tide View a modern self catering cottage in the North Norfolk village of Walcott. The moment you arrive you can unwind, breathe in the fresh sea air and take in the wonderful beach location. Please Note; Beds are made up, hand and tea towels are provided. We don't supply bath and beach towels. When you step inside you will find a contemporary open plan living area encompassing the lounge, kitchen and dining area, this is a great family space for relaxing, cooking and eating together. This room extends outside through double fronted patio doors giving you direct access down to the beach and sea. There is also ample parking for two cars. Moving upstairs, Tide View has one double bedroom with a beautiful Juliet balcony overlooking the beach with uninterrupted sea view. There is also a twin bedroom and a modern bathroom with over bath shower. To the rear of this Norfolk self catering cottage is a secluded south facing garden, giving you another space in which to relax and enjoy a BBQ in the evenings. As you would expect from a modern holiday cottage, WiFi comes as standard. Tide View also comes fully equipped with a television, digital radio, DVD & CD players are provided for your entertainment during your stay in Norfolk. Dogs are welcome and allowed all year round on the beach in front of the property, so your dog can have a holiday as well. Walcott and the Surrounding Area This seaside holiday cottage is close to Walcott village which has a village shop for those last minute supplies, along with the café, fish & chip shop, eat in or takeaway. If you prefer to go out in evenings but don’t want to take the car, then The Lighthouse Inn is just a short walk across the fields from Tide View. This is a family friendly pub and provides children’s entertainment throughout the summer months. The Poachers’ Pocket is a 15 minute walk along the beach and has live entertainment some evenings a good pub menu and friendly staff. Norfolk’s coastline offers many activities for all ages from coastal walks, horse riding, cycling, sea fishing and jet skiing all available in the surrounding resorts and villages. If you are a nature lover, then a Norfolk holiday cottage is a must with many heritage and natural wildlife sites run by the National Trust, Norfolk Wildlife Trust, English Heritage and the RSPB. Wildlife you could see on your stay includes grey seals, bats, an abundance of birds and even the occasional porpoise. Car is preferable, however, you can take the train to North Walsham and a taxi out to the beach. There is also a rural bus service to take you to Mundesley with its blue flag award winning beach or the Market town of North Walsham.
