Bedroom within a friendly, private home. Room has double bed, luxury 100% Egyptian cotton linen, bedside table with lamp, wardrobe, dressing table, TV. Tea and coffee making facilities. Bathroom (shared) has bath, shower over, vanity basin and toilet. A continental style breakfast may be available if requested at the time of booking and for an extra fee of £3 per guest payable direct to the host. Guests may enjoy the garden, an ideal place for a night cap on a pleasant evening. On colder evenings our heated seat makes outdoor living a little cosier. Guests are welcome to use the garden As this is their home, the hosts will be available throughout your stay. Our village is very peaceful, clean and well kept. We have a working corn mill close by and the river Dour runs past our property. The Royal Oak pub, a mere 3 minute walk, serves a good range of food and speciality beers. The picturesque Kearsney Abbey and Russell Gardens are a short walk away, boasting woodland walks, play areas for children and an excellent cafe. A visit to the beautiful and historic 13th century Dover Castle overlooking the English Channel, approximately 3 miles away, together with a walk along the charming White Cliffs are a must during your stay. The property is ideally situated for cross channel travellers being close to the ferry port of Dover approximately 3 miles and the Channel Tunnel approximately 6 miles. Kearsney rail station is a 10 minute walk with trains going to London and the historic city of Canterbury. There is also a bus stop nearby. Guests may park their car in our driveway close to the property. Whilst we love animals, due to severe allergies we do not accept pets of any kind.
