This cabin is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac in downtown Twain Harte, walkable to all shops, dining, and golfing in town. Please, read through our whole AirBnB listing. We opened our doors to guests in 2015 and since then we have updated, renovated, and rearranged areas of our cabins, and I post those photos on our social media. We hope you will check us out online! Please inquire about any Extra Services you might want at time of booking; e.g., Early Checkins/Late Checkouts~ We will do our best to accommodate your inquires! There is a fee to secure early check-ins and/or late checkouts. COVID-19 INFO: We understand the concerns & worries of sanitation and social distancing during this time. Please know that our cabins are sanitized after each guest departs, and prior to your arrival. We use Tilex and bleach products along with other disinfectant products. *All of our sheets & towels are white on purpose so that we can bleach them after each guests' departure. *We will only prepare the cabin for the exact number of guests you have in your reservation. When we send you our Welcome Message a couple of days prior to your arrival, if your reservation is 4 or fewer people we will be asking if all 3 bedrooms will be used. Or let us know upon booking *Due to heavier laundry expense and time there will be one towel set per guest: 1 Bath Towel, 1 Hand Towel, 1 Washcloth. If you need more, there will be a linen fee. *We have hand sanitizers, disinfectant spray, and cleaners at all of our cabins, so you can wipe down areas during your stay. *It is now mandatory to wear masks while out and about. Masks will be made available upon request if you do not have one of your own. *We ask that you do all of your grocery shopping in your own hometown. Stores are open here, but stock is way down & there are purchasing limits on certain items; such as water, toilet paper, and other essential goods. *For a small fee, I will grocery shop for you so you can simply arrive, and the fridge will be stocked for your visit. Provide me a list and I'll do the rest. *Restaurants are now severing their patrons outdoors, and offering pickup, as well. *There will be Toilet Paper and a roll of paper towels in the cabin, but depending on how long you plan on staying you should bring a few rolls depending on your own daily use. Upon arriving, you'll be welcomed with cold water & snacks (VEGAN?! Please, let me know & your snacks will be customized!)! Your pets will want their treats, too, so please inform us if you're traveling with your pet(s)! At all our cabins we supply coffee for the coffee maker & tea for your enjoyment! We will pick up basics such as milk, eggs, cereal, bread, and other such items so that when you arrive you do not have to run to the store for your 1st night's dinner, or your 1st morning's breakfast, especially if arriving later at night. It is a quick easy drive from the home with lots to offer families; -Beardsley Lake: If you're looking for a quiet, secluded, and gorgeous lake, Beardsley is for you! You may water ski, boat, fish, picnic, and enjoy the beauty of this very primitive lake. Boat launch, and picnic tables, along with bathrooms. Set off of Hwy 108, the road down to the lake is closed during winter, but what a gorgeous place for a picnic & day excursion! I highly recommend! -Easy & beautiful day trips through Groveland to Yosemite (hour & half drive - PLEASE check road conditions anytime of the year - Tioga Pass usually closes for the winter due to weather conditions); -Drive through the Dardanelle's, to Kennedy Meadow's Resort & Pack Station (Summer). -Lake Tulloch is not too far; New Melones not far either! *******WINTER******* PLEASE, TRAVEL RESPONSIBLY - CHECK WEATHER & ROAD CONDITIONS BEFORE YOU DEPART - BE SURE TO TRAVEL WITH CHAINS AND/OR 4 WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE - ROADS ARE PLOWED, BUT CHAINS AND/OR 4 WHEEL DRIVE MAY STILL BE REQUIRED *** Please plan ahead! -Dodge Ridge Ski Resort (21.7 MILES) and Leland Meadows Snow Park. -Long Barn Lodge Ice Skating Rink (7.6 MILES) -Leland Meadows Snow Park -We hope you'll consider spending holidays up in the Sierra High Country at Peace of Your Harte! I never want to, nor will I impede on your time during your visit; however, if you have any questions or need anything, at any time - before, during and/or after your visit - I am available via AirBnB's messaging system (most effective & quickest), and text - my number is noted at the cabin. Please do not hesitate to contact me, I'll help you all I can! We have tried to cover everything in our Welcome Binder, and we do have little notes posted through the cabin where other guests have had questions in the past. We simply want you to feel that you can find whatever you need, or operate any appliance/equipment with ease. There is no worry about arrival time, you may checkin at your convenience anytime after 3:00pm, or if prior arrangements have been made for an early checkin! Please let me know if you're arriving after dark, and we'll leave the porch light on, and other lights on in the home for you. Plus there are flashlights in the home. Things happen in the mountains that are out of our control, such as power outages (mostly in winter months, but sometimes summer lightening storms hit causing power outages {really rare but have happened}). We have supplied the home w/lanterns, flashlights (w/extra batteries), a butane burner for heating water, soup, etc., plus our charcoal BBQ if you choose to stay in versus going to a restaurant for meals during a power outage. Our family has done both. Parking: We have plenty of parking! If you're arriving in an RV, we have room; if you're hauling a boat or trailer or are arriving in multiple vehicles, our cul-de-sac provides great space! Where we are situated we're walking distance to downtown Twain Harte. You can walk to all the restaurants, the shops, local events, the community pool, TH Mini-golf, Twain Harte Golf Club, Eproson Park, etc. Twain Harte has dining for a lot of different tastes, and all are walking distance from Peace of Your Harte! CiBo Famiglia restaurant, Eproson House and The Eagle Tavern are just right down the street. The Rock - known for their burgers and diverse menu, The Cottage Cafe for breakfast and lunch, The Sportsman, Cafe Blossom, China House, El Jardin, The Pizza Factory, and just a short drive up Hwy 108, Alicia's Sugar Shack ~ just to name a few! There are more, and we have them noted in our Welcome Binder, F B pg, our own site, and in-home and AirBnB Guidebook. The home sits in a quiet & traffic-free cul-de-sac, perfect for children & small pets to play, shoot hoops, ride bikes, and have fun. -Early Checkin & Lake Checkout might be available and there is a fee. Cabs + Uber can be called for a fun night down at Black Oak Casino, or Sonora. But most everything you could need or want is either walkable, or a short drive away. ~Enter your dates of travel and guest count for the correct price quote. ~ Please inquire about Twain Harte Lake and the new COVID-19 GUIDELINES & access info. I have ZERO Control over how the lake chooses its guidelines. We all MUST follow their rules. ~As an alternative to Twain Harte Lake, I can't recommend Pinecrest Lake enough. It is a 23-minute drive to the lake, straight up Hwy 108. It is an easy and beautiful drive, and I promise you will not be disappointed. You may visit Pinecrest's website and view their marina rates for renting paddle boards and boats, kayaks, motorboats, and our favorite, the pontoons. You can fish, hike around the gorgeous lake, and all parking and beach access is free. Again, I can't name enough good and encouraging adjectives to describe how lovely Pinecrest Lake is for spending a day (or more!)! Plus, access is free, dogs are welcome, and the hike around the lake is gorgeous for picture taking and an adventure for the whole family! -Early Checkin & Lake Checkout might be available FOR A FEE. However, if there are any damages at all, including stains on the carpet or pet accidents left on attended to we will appropriately deduct from the Damage Deposit without hesitation. ~If you need the use of the highchair and/or the pac-n-play, the items are located in the cabin’s bedroom closets. Please put them back where you found them, cleaned and ready for the next guests who will need them.
