A traditional Shepherd's Hut with a luxury twist, offering a stylish and comfortable space with lights & power, modern shower room facilities, a private 'cottage garden' and glorious views. The shepherds hut is nestled in a beautiful setting alongside the famous Batsford Arboretum and adjacent Garden Centre where guests can make use of the on-site cafe or visit the neighbouring falconry centre. An idyllic hide-away well placed for Moreton-In-Marsh and the North Cotswold villages. The shepherds hut is tastefully finished and fitted with a quality 'John Lewis' double bed, soft carpet and pretty fabrics as well as a basin with cold water, tea & coffee facilities, a toaster, mini-fridge, a table and chairs for two, books & games and a Log Burning Stove with a basket of logs for arrival. The space is double glazed and well insulated for cooler evenings. The modern Shower Room is hidden within a rustic tin shed, just across the garden, and offers underfloor heating, an electric Shower, flushing WC, Wash Basin with hot and cold water, fluffy white towels and complimentary toiletries. Guests will enjoy the private and pretty garden with paving, table and bench seating, barbeque, well stocked flower beds and lovely views. Parking is available a short stroll away, next to the donkey paddock. A complimentary Continental Breakfast Hamper is provided but guests can make use of the Garden Centre Cafe for breakfast and lunch. All guests will be given 10% discount vouchers for the neighbouring "Batsford Arboretum" and "Cotswold Falconry Centre". Walkers may enjoy the Monarch Way footpath that crosses a meadow at one side and leads through countryside to Moreton-In Marsh (about 30mins walk) or the pretty village of Blockley (40mins walk). Guests have sole use of the shepherds hut, bathroom and surrounding garden as well as an independent entrance As I live next door I am happy to be lead by each guests as far as interaction goes. I am available any time by phone, text or email to answer any queries On the doorstep we have Batsford Arboretum - pass entitles guests to free access. Also Cotswold falconry with a 10% discount for guests. Within five miles we have Broadway, Broadway tower, Chipping Campden and Stow on the Wold .... all beautiful Cotswold villages. As well as numerous nearby walks. We have ample free parking on site. Many guests also arrive at Moreton in Marsh station by train and then either take a taxi or walk the 2 miles to us. The fittest guests have come with their bikes to explore the Cotswolds.
