Premium mattress, pillows and blanket are free to use. Just ask me if you need any more pillows or blankets. Please note: the use of the kitchen is not included in the price. Although I do not have any problem using the fridge, freezer. Or the oven or the microwave to warm up some food. Make yourself comfortable in the living room, enjoy a drink and/or a book on the terrace, take a bath or a shower in the bathroom,... just enjoy your stay. The guest room is completely private to you, there will be no other guests. You will have my exclusive attention, but do not expect me to be home every night, as I am often on the road myself. The Vaartkom-district is a post-industrial part of the city. Historically it was at the Vaartkom that the well-known Leuven industries developed: beer breweries such as world-famous Brouwerij Artois, grain milling, timber traders and so on. With the disappearance and relocation of these traditional industries at the end of the 20th century, the district lost its original function and became a desolate, post-industrial area. Since 2007, the district has been the largest urban renewal area in Belgium and is still undergoing a transformation into a new urban district. Welcoming new families and with it bars, and restaurants ready to be explored like OPEK, HOP, Noordoever, Florida,… Both the city center and the main train station are around 1km or a 10-15m walk away. By train: Leuven station (1,2km). By bus: line 600 en 601, stop: 'Engels Plein' (busses riding every 10 minutes each direction). By car: Parking Vaartkom (just across the street). Maui, my cat is here too! She's very friendly and does sleeps a lot. She's not allowed out of the main living room. :-) Booking through (Website hidden by Airbnb) Add a note and let me know your preferences, so I can apply the correct formula and prepare your stay in Leuven!
