A self-contained converted stable offering more than just a room. After a busy day out and about you can relax by the river in your own space and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and the wild life that visits. The Stables has one double bedroom with a king size bed, bathroom, and living space that consists of a well equipped lounge, dining and kitchen area., there are no cooking facilities, but toaster, hot plate, coffee machine, and fridge are provided. 2 Ivy House offers the perfect place to stay for ramblers, cyclists, or anyone who wants to just chill. Bikes can be securely locked away. Guests will have full access to all of The Stable facilities plus its own outside courtyard/garden, which has The River Lambourn running through it. We want our guests to enjoy their stay and will be available should they require help or assistance. Great Shefford is set in an AONB, there are numerous countryside walks within 5 minutes of the property, other picturesque villages nearby, fantastic restaurants, The Watermill Theatre, Donnington Castle and Newbury Racecourse. Our local friendly village pub is within a 2 minute walk, if that! We have on site secure parking at the property. Public transport services are limited but available into Newbury where regular main train line links are available. In addition to the locally sourced produce for the included continental breakfast, 2 Ivy House offer Cream Teas and Cheese Boards with prior notice, and at an additional cost.
