Authentic farm house in old village of Zoetermeer

Stay in the old village of Zoetermeer in a unique spacious farmhouse "De Vlaming" of 150 years old! Just around the corner of the old and the new city centre (Stadshart) lies this authentic farmhouse. A unique location, where you are always close by car to The Hague (15min.), Rotterdam ( 25 min.), Utrecht (35min.), Amsterdam CS (50 min.) and Schiphol (40min.) and Delft and Leiden within cycling distance. The house you stay in has its own e-lock entrance, so you can easily get in and out when it suits you. Through the hallway you enter your kitchen with all the desired comforts: induction stove, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge and plenty of storage. Enjoy your breakfast or dinner in the dining area with partial views of the garden and the Dorpstraat. This house still has authentic details, including a ceiling with ornaments, stained glass and two sliding glass doors (which you can easily slide closed for a little more privacy). The spacious living room offers you a peaceful environment, where you have the space to sit comfortably. You have an unobstructed view of the water and the Vlamingstraat. The corner sofa can easily be converted into a nice double bed. The bright bedroom has a lovely double bed to spend the night in peace and quiet after a busy day. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and a wonderful walk-in shower. All rooms located behind the left front door. - In consultation of the washer and dryer space. - Portion of the garden is adjacent to the Airbnb space. The house you rent belongs to our residential office. During the day, there is always someone there to help you with questions. Some employees and founders the companies also live in the building. They have their own spaces and do not have access to your home. We are open for a chat and enjoy getting to know you and sharing tips and tricks for your visit to Zoetermeer and the surrounding area. As soon as you stand on the outside grounds you experience the history of our farm "De Vlaming". You can take a nice walk through the old village center, go to the market at the Dobbeplas on Saturday or enjoy shopping in the Stadshart. There are several cozy coffee shops around the farm. Eat the best Cheesecake at "de Bakkerswinkel" in the Dorpstraat or enjoy the delicious coffee in the "Barrista café" in the center. All within walking distance. Our farmhouse is easily accessible by both public transport and by car (which can be parked for free on our own premises). There is also an electric charging station for your Electronic Vehicle where can be easily recharged. With the Randstad rail stop you can walk in about 5 minutes from 2 possible stops (Centrum West stop or Stadhuis stop). From there you are in 20 minutes in The Hague city center or in 35 minutes in Rotterdam city center or Rotterdam airport. Amsterdam and Schiphol are 60 minutes travel time with public transport. The house is not really suitable for small children. Especially in connection with the water next door, where there are no fences, this can cause life-threatening situations. Therefore we, unfortunately, do not recommend staying with us with children under the age of 10 and with no swimming skills.
