Colorful Kitsch in a Perfect Location. Bring Dogs!

My place is self-indulgent in its color and kitsch. Fun, playful, and will hopefully remind you just a little bit of Grandma's house. I know you'll find something here that makes you smile. You'll also love the thoughtful touches and luxurious amenities, including: Netflix, robes/slippers, luxury toiletries, baked goods, juice, hot chocolate, oatmeal, granola bars, coffee/tea with ALL the fixings! This 1st-floor apartment (2 front steps to reach the front door) is located in a quiet triplex with a fenced-in back yard and off-street parking for up to (4) vehicles; parking is first-come, first-served. A keypad will provide access to the apartment. The apartment has a living room (with desk), kitchen (with dining area), bathroom, and 1 bedroom with an amazing queen-sized bed. Through the kitchen is a small porch that provides access to the shared backyard. A washer/dryer are in the apartment and are available for use. Guests will have private access to the entire apartment and the shared fenced-in backyard. I will likely be in Kansas City (about 45 minutes away) during your stay. I am available by text from 8am-10pm. I consider this to be a perfect Lawrence location. You will be close to everything, but are not located in a "party" neighborhood. *Campuses: KU and HINU campuses are 1 mile away *Basketball: 1.5 miles from Allen Fieldhouse. Rock Chalk! *Restaurants/Local Shops: Visit charming downtown Lawrence; 1.5 miles away *Events: 2 miles from the Lied Center or Granada *Nature: Hike the wetlands! The Haskell-Baker Wetlands nature preserve is just 1 mile away *Familiar Commerce: located 2 miles from a strip of recognizable stores, including: Target, Walmart, World Market, Kohls, Micheals, Best Buy, DICKS, and more. For a city of its size, Lawrence has amazing public transportation; a public transportation guide is provided. An Uber to downtown or to KU's campus costs $5-$10; cars are always readily available. The official check-in and check-out times may be flexible, depending on a variety of factors. Please feel free to ask about early/late times - I am frequently able to accommodate these requests. Unless agreed upon in advance, checkin is 4pm and checkout is 11am. Dogs are welcome, but there is a $35 pet fee to cover extra cleaning and vacuuming. The fenced-in backyard is shared with 2 other apartments.
