Conker Corner: A Single Room, In the Peak District

A single room in a beautiful, well maintained, clean detached 3 bedroom house with driveway parking; close to all amenities, but in a quiet cul-de-sac of only 5 houses. Only a 10 Minutes walk in to open countryside and the Peak District National park. Convenient for public transport to Manchester, Sheffield, Stockport and Buxton. Ideal for walking and / or cycling holidays, sight seeing or a business trip. I do have a dog who lives with me. Contractors: Please contact me for long term rates Your room is a single room with fitted wardrobe and bedside cabinet. All bed clothes, towels and consumables (eg toilet paper) will be provided. The lounge is shared, as is the bathroom and kitchen. We have more than adequate space as there is only myself and my faithful Border Collie (Luna) living here. IMPORTANT: Please ensure you read the house rules before booking Single width driveway parking for several cars is available at the property. Several local bus services are available. The 199 runs from Manchester Airport, through Stockport and up to Buxton, then back again. There are 2 railway stations locally, Chinley and Chapel en le Frith, both on separate lines. Chinley is on the Manchester to Sheffield line, Chapel is on the Manchester to Buxton line. There are 2 supermarkets, Morrisons and Aldi, both within a 5 minute walk of the house. Chapel en le Frith has several bars and restaurants and one petrol station. I will always try to meet you at the property and show you around. Please try to give me an accurate ETA so I ensure I am at the property when you arrive. Enjoy your stay I will try where ever possible to be available for any questions, advice or queries you may have. We are close to the beautiful Spa town of Buxton (about 10 mins by car). We are close to Kinder Scout and the amazing Peak District Nation Park (10 min walk to 'base' of Kinder Scout). Bakewell, renowned for its Tarts, approx 15 miles away.The area is quiet, very scenic and great for the anyone who enjoys the outdoor lifestyle We are a 5 minute walk to the 199 Bus route which connects Buxton to Manchester Airport, a 20 min Walk from Chapel Railway Station (Buxton To Manchester Piccadilly), and a 30 minute walk to Chinley railway station, which connects Sheffield to Manchester Piccadilly - and also passes through the beautiful Hope Valley. Subject to availability and for a small additional fee I can provide a 'lift' service for up to 2 people (in my van) in case you need collecting from a local railway station, taking or collecting to the start / end of a walk, or bike ride....or even if you just fancy a car free day out and a couple of drinks. Subject to availability, weather, your exact requirements, and for a small additional fee I may also be able to offer guided walks and bike rides. I know the area well and have walked and cycled all over the Peak District.
